Update on the Antique File Cabinet Challenge

On April 10th, Kathy Cruz of The Salvaged Boutique, and I challenged each other to a friendly competition of each restoring an antique, 1918 Berloy single (stacking) file cabinet. The cabinets were gifted to me by Lisa at Rye Lane Designs. Knowing that a small contest would hasten the project along, I was happy she accepted the idea.

Here is a sneak peak of supplies for each of our projects. The finished results will be revealed in one week. We were allowed to use whatever materials we could find and adapt to our designs.

HOPE & SALVAGE:

The middle of a friendly design competition might not be the best time to test out a new camera, but it will keep you guessing about the final reveal...

Still in the building/assembly phase, but black gas pipes are also part of the design.
